If you are at around 20% you are doing extremely well. You will only discover regression to the mean after about 100, depending on what you are playing, and your true ROI won't begin to regress fully until you have played at least 500. Shakey90 0 Posted January 9, 2007 Author Share Posted January 9, 2007 well really my bankroll management sucks...like i was down to 8 bucks on stars the other day...worked it up 450 yesterday through alot of different games...but sharkscope has me at 24% ROI through like 835 games last time i checked,,i play everything from 180's to HU...everythingfrom 105's down to 5 bucks...i found the 5 dollar sngs had players better than the 55's sometimes...anyhow just wondering if 24% was good....thanks Link to post Share on other sites

I don't really think that there is a magic number.Playing 55 sng with a br under 500 is not really the thing you want to do. Obviously you have won a few to get up that high that quick, but you will lose it just as fast. Patience is the key. Link to post Share on other sites

I play mostly $5 stts at the moment, and sometimes when it's shorthanded I check the other players in sharkscope - I almost never find anyone who is a winning playr, often they have hundreds of $ in losses with ROIs lower than -30%. I don't know what percentage of players are losing money in online poker - but I think that number might be as high as 90% or so in low buyin s&gs. Link to post Share on other sites

Jam-Fly 8 Posted January 16, 2007 Share Posted January 16, 2007 I believe the guys that play the 180s full time has ROIs of 80%+.But for the normal 9- or 10-mans, I think anything above 10% is good.No clue for 18 or 27s (although I'd imagine it should be in the 20% range?
