Not really. We probably don't have the best hand (and we would hate to get raised), so a free card is good.

This is just a general question, not so much related to this post, but do you guys typically bet the pot or a smaller amount??I only ask b/c as a general rule I don't bet pot unless I'm raising or re-raising pot. I find that in most cases a smaller bet serves the same purpose as pot, but we can manage the pot-size a little better by keeping it smaller. Not that it would make a huge difference in this hand but I'd likely bet something like $7 into the $9.50 pot...

I also believe potting and betting a smaller amount has physcological affect on opponents.I am sure this sounds pretty ridiculous but when i first started playing omaha when someone bet a smaller amount than pot on flop or turn , the first thing that came to my mind is "He doesn't have the nuts thats why he bets less than pot"I think betting pot represents strength and betting less than pot shows weakness to new omaha players. An experienced player wouldn't fall for that obviously.

I usually try to bet more optimally than the full pot, but there are a lot of situations that call for it. It very much depends on your normal pattern. If you are a pot or nothing player then its fine, but if you only ever pot with a big draw you are clearly going to be exploitable.I don't really mind the full pot here because we will get called by a lot of hands we are crushing or at least fairly well ahead of.
