So we are deep in this 2 dollar, second cash level. For whatever reason every table i have been at has had a big stack and the big stack was playing uber loose and aggro. I actually doubled up twice because of these donks ... so here it comes. Big stack at table has been very active limping min raising and 3x raising pretty liberally. Last hand the big stack had just raised 3x on what i suspected was a steal because the person in the bb was sitting out now he min bets, and remember he has been very active, i choose to reraise because i feel he would respect a reraise, previously at this table i made one reraise and got called then pushed the flop when i hit tptk... so he knows i am going to follow through pretty much.... what do you think of my play?

I dont know. I'd probably wait for a better hand to do this with. And your position is not too good. What are you going to do if one of the 4 players behinds you wakes up with a real hand?

If you want to play against the big stack, use your position on him and just call and let him bet/bluff into you...

I like the resteal, and the flop is a no-brainer with the amount of money in the pot and top pair. My guess is your a slight dog, facing two overs and a flush draw, hopefully it held.

answer this one... What hand would u call down pre-flop with 1/4 of your chips??? I think he'd have pretty decent hand.... and I'd be cautious post flop if I don;t get an excellent flop..

example.. two pair.. or open eneded draw.. or top pair and a draw etc etc

coper, i think i underestimate you sometimes... you are completely correct, KQ of spades..... not only did he get 1 spade but he got 2 sad.gif. After the hand i was thinking whether i should have thought about my call more, whether i could have walked away from top pair no kicker but kept thinking the ONLY hand he could have had with that bet pattern was a draw.

Here is my thinking, if he had a big hand like AA KK etc he very well may have smooth called my reraise to be tricky, now that the flop comes very safe he without a doubt would check to the person who has the lead and hope that i price myself in..... Any made big hand he would be doing this with. Since he is betting into me pretty big that is classic semi-bluffage.

meservery- what hand would a person need to pick up that would give action to a raise re raise??? those are probably 3-4 percent of what those ppl are likely to pick up. In HOH 3 which i am going through right now he has a scenerio just like this where he spoke of the likelihood of someone picking up a monster behind you, in that particular case i believe it was 3 ppl behind and he put them on a range of AA, KK, QQ, AKs the result was a 3 percent likelihood that one of the three would pick up one of those hands..... so my play is very unlikely to get action from anyone but the original raiser.
