I would call. You are BB.Your hand isn't strong enough for a raise, but its not a completely horrible hand. If you flop 2spades, many low cards, or an ace....or better yet, all of those, you are in good shape. Also because it is relatively early on, I think we have the stack to take some chances.

in general how strong do yall play aces preflop? OOP are u just willing to call raises, are you raising or reraising? In position im assumine all are playin strong
It's all about position. IP, yeah, I'm blasting away all day. If you were button in the above example, I'm repotting. But OOP, with bad straight support and 3 spades, I'm calling one raise... I might not be able to bring myself to call a repot if say MP3 had potted and CO repopped, mainly due to the sandwiching situation. In general, first 4-5 levels, I'll play them slow OOP, and relatively strong IP. Later levels when repotting can mean 50% or more of the average stack, I'm blasting everywhere but UTG, when I'm hoping for a late raise I can repop. If not, I'll play em like a middle pair for set value.

It also depends on what your other 2cards are as well.If I am ip wih aakk ds, then I am raising everything everytime, but if I have aa97 with all spades. Yes, all of them are spades. Then I am just calling, even with position. Then evaluting the flop.if I am oop with AA97 facing a raise and a reraise, then I think laying it down may be the best course of action, but if you are OOP with AAKK, then you are pushing no matter what.

If you can get allin with AAxx preflop then that is fine in almost every situation, regardless of the xx.In this hand I made a mistake by only looking at MP3's stack. I saw that a repot would get him allin and for some reason it didn't register that CO's stack was much deeper. Flop was nice, the turn and river weren't.Full Tilt PokerPot Limit Omaha Ring gameBlinds: $30/$609 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $3505UTG+1: $3625MP1: $4260MP2: $153MP3: $874CO: $2253Button: $8199SB: $1420Hero: $3320Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is BB with 2 :) A :) 9 :) A :icon_dance:4 folds, MP3 calls, CO raises to $270, 2 folds, Hero raises to $900, MP3 folds, CO calls.Flop: A :club: T :D 4 :icon_dance: ($1890, 2 players)Hero bets $1890, CO calls all-in $1353.Uncalled bets: $537 returned to Hero. With aces i try to isolate myself with a caller or re-raiser. If i can get it all in preflop in a heads up pot i am fine %100 of the time. In +3 way pots i re-raise if i can get %33 of my stack in preflop.Otherwise i am just calling OOP.
