Why didn't you cap the turn? You think he's capping the flop w/AK? I guess AhKh could make some sense. But it seems like QQ makes like 7 times more sense. I cap the turn, put a raise in on the river, and call if 3-bet.Man, Actuary. What the heck... your lack of a turn cap just absolutely confounds me.Wang

(yeah..uh..feared a Kx...lol)In short, I limit my range in his eyes way too much and presume he's not 3-betting with worse than QQ/TT.Why I give him AK so often, beats meIt's the occasional time he does that sticks with me too longI post to help get over this disease

i agree with the WangStar here. i definitely cap the turn, and at least raise a blank river too.i've found myself missing lots of value raises lately, especially at semi-tight tables. the whole "i don't want to get reraised" mentality is probably costing me a lot of bets, especially since they often reraise with a worse hand, considering they suck.basically i'm saying that even with your micro experiment, you should be looking to put in more 'value raises,' and it'll apply to "higher" (HUGE stakes like 2/4) limits more than we might expect.

at semi tight tables I'm usually folding this from UTG+2.I was feeling frisky and happy to showdown a wider range of hands I raised.Not that anyone notices at this level.

I got ya. It was one of those where you had a feeling and went with it. If it hits, great. If not you can get away from it.

I usually tell my micro playing friends to start doing this, making EP or MP raises with hands like this (good suited connectors) that are usually a fold from time to time, even if they're positive the table is so bad it won't notice. Just a good habit to get into, feeling out when the right time is, etc. Plus it gives you valuable experience playing these hands post flop in weird spots.Wang

Definitely cap teh turn.I bet/call if he checks. If he leads again, calling is fine on the river.I <3 flop play, btw.
