Question About A Strange Play

Recommended Posts

My hand played itself. My opponent played the hand in a way I haven't seen. Has anyone come across this, and if so, does it tend to be a certain type of hand or just a mad bluff?I've played about 65 hands at this table and MP2 hasn't drawn my attention. Meaning he hasn't played a ton of pots, hasn't been really aggressive, and hasn't done anything nutty in the hands he's been involved with.Full Tilt PokerLimit Holdem Ring gameLimit: $0.50/$19 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $61.15UTG+1: $19.80MP1: $33.45MP2: $64MP3: $51.05Hero: $27.15Button: $9.30SB: $27.40BB: $37.25Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is CO with J :club: J :)3 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, Hero raises, Button calls, 2 folds, MP2 calls.Flop: 2 :) 6 :D T :D (7.5SB, 3 players)MP2 bets, Hero raises, Button folds, MP2 calls.Turn: J :) (5.75BB, 2 players)MP2 bets, Hero raises, MP2 calls.River: 9 :D (9.75BB, 2 players)MP2 bets, Hero raises, MP2 calls.BTW, does anyone think about calling the river instead of raising?Thank you.

AT maybe and he's just decided that this is his pot? Like you said, your hand played itself, what else could you have done?
