this seems fine, though i consider folding turn or river. i fold too much though.what are your stats so far? i found on AP, i started around 16/8/22 (steal %) and basically broke even. once you adjust for the players, the games, 9-handed play, you find your spots though. i'm closer to 20/13/33 now, depending on table conditions, and more like 1-1.5 bb/100.what seems to be lacking in your strat hands is villain reads. stats are important, but this is one of the few where you provided them. still, we have no tendencies. this will come with time, but is something to look for. try to remember when villains bet out, when they check/raise, when they slowplay, when they bluff, how they respond to steals, etc.

nothing here. It's tough to beat decent players with standard SSHE play.I'm looking/hoping to take my game to another level some day. Or marry Abbaddabbdoo
Well, I was down 40 bb on the day when I posted these. Then I took a break, and now I've won like 60 bb back, since then, lol.I'm feeling better now.During that 600 hand, 40 bb loss, my W$SD was like 40%, so I was definitely running awfully...lol

eww.Yeah, that's when you really start believing the Monsters Under the Bed are really there because all the draws hit for them and those villain turn c/r's were not just TP or semi buffs.glad you are back on track!

i value bet the river as played. that looks a TON like Ac9.i also don't mind raise/folding the turn if you're planning on calling down. you might fold 2p that way.but i don't speak pokertracker, though. what do those numbers translate to in english? :club:

VPIP/PFR/AFVPIP = money voluntarily put in the pot (%)PFR = preflop raise %AF = aggression factor ([bet+raise]/call)So, this guy is pretty tight preflop, but raises about the same as most players. He's also pretty aggro postflop.630 hands is a meaningful sample in these cases.

k. now i'm almost entirely sure he has Ac9. seems like someone who likes to bet would be betting that river with any hand that beat you. but tell me i'm wrong :club:.

Na, you're pretty right about the river. I really think it's a value bet.He did not have Ac9, though.

How about this:How does our flop/turn play change if we have QcQx?
ooh, fun! :)i actually think i wait to raise the turn with the Qc, but for some reason i think if i take that line i very often check behind river if called and i don't improve, which seems odd but i think may be right, since calling the turn raise would indicate that he still thinks he can beat you but he ain't there yet. that line probably folds any worse hand to a river bet, i would think. strange in retrospect.

I'd think this board is too scary for villain to try a c/r. He'd assume you'd check behind too often. But, I'm also a wuss here and expect a player this aggressive to have a missed draw enough (so he folds) to add to the chance of a c/r with big hands, that I'm likely checking behind vs this player. I doubt that is good long term

The turn/raise is just too tricky for this level. There's no way villain is going to give us credit for a straight or a flush, and will likely call down. We get 3-bet on occassion, and fold our opponent never.WangEDIT- I also value bet this river, and don't think it is very close.

how often is this guy willing to defend his bb? what kind of range has he shown when defending?...
Meh, no real stats or reads on that.I'm always 4-tabling, and I think the weakest part of my game is taking notes (which I don't do), and stuff like that. Most players on this site will defend semi-liberally, so I mean his range could be decently big range, but not huge. This is not a steal though, since it's from MP1, so it probably tightens his range up a bit.
