mrdannyg 274
the NBA continues to embarass its fans and players. I believe Ilya Kovalchuk and Tomas Kaberle got into a better fight a couple years ago. What does it say about your league when the leading scorer, who is not involved in the dispute jumps into the fray, slaps another player in the face, then immediately runs away.No one threw a punch or even a shove without immediately retreating. The coaches were laughing and smiling at it, while it was still going on.There was simply no emotion, just posturing and bravado, which describes the NBA perfectly.
XXEddie 0
This is all Nate Robinson's faultJ.R. Smith was angry at the flagrent but nothing was really happening untill Robinson(who didnt even commit to foul) starts shoving Smith which sparked the whole thing
Jadaki 1
http://www.nytimes.com/2006/12/17/sports/b...artner=homepageThis stuff is ridiculous...Best part of that article was this quote from Knicks guard Nate Robinson."If we're up 20 points, we're not going to play Stephon and Eddy," Robinson said. "It's like a slap in the face, saying we're going to embarrass you like that."How would they know what being up by 20 in the forth quarter is like?
king_tanner 84
I hope Melo loses all his endorsements. He already lost some after that video of him with drug dealers (or something) came out. He's just a thug. I wish they didn't hold back Jeffries and let him kick Melo's sorry a_ss.

He is leading the league in scoring on an up and coming team. Plus his wife is hot.

Jadaki 1
I would suspend them for more games but I guess this is okay..Outside of the pistons/pacers brawl there this is a pretty big jump in amounts of games suspended for throwing a punch at another player. Remember the Knicks/Heat/Pistons fights from a few years ago, they would get like 1 or 2 games.
SuitedAces21 2,741
I was hoping Carmelo would get 20 games. But I'll take 15. Now I hope that Coach K kicks him off team USA.
