GoCryWolfe 0
I'm not folding, but then again, I don't check call the whole way.I do not see you beat here, at all. Two pair? Or a lower flush, but def. not the Ace.
MasterLJ 0
Warning, No content:Kd4d is what the BB had when I lost with a flopped flush with JdTd in the biggest pot of my life (4 way all-in).So yeah, you're probably beat sir.
CobaltBlue 662
The really funny part is that you've got the fourth nuts on the river. And I got that "gut feeling" when I flopped a flush (3rd nuts) playing 2/5 NL in a casino for the second time. I mean, I still don't think I could've gotten away, but the guy sitting next to me didn't understand why I was ill...that after the action had gone through on the flop, I knew one of them had the nut flush. trystero 0
I just realized that you flopped a flush, oh my Gawd. Lead flop. Try to get it all in ASAP. If he raises you can call/push turn as you've got position. As played it's probably a fold because your kicker's a 4 and not a 3. The krablar wouldn't let you down.
dreamcrusher28 0
I get that feeling in my "gut", always call and rarely win. Welcome to my world.

Everyone limps. Flop comes down 9d 6d 3d.BB bets out pot size. I raise. MP+1 pushes. CO smooth calls. BB pushes. *cry*

I was basically drawing dead from the flop.Chat after the hand went as follows:Villain: HOW did I not get your whole stack there?Hero: I have no idea.I don't know if this means I am playing really well or really poorly. I know over the long run if I get it all in here, I'm winning somewhere around 90% of the time, but I truly just felt that I was doomed here. I'm trying to get past that whole "NO WAY, he can't have "X" here" syndrome.
petersun 0
Let's say the action was like this: PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)CO ($254.50)Button ($156.10)Hero ($99.45)BB ($101.50)UTG ($110.05)MP ($105.75)Preflop: Hero is SB with 4 , K . Can we fold to save 41 bucks? Not only the A , but the 9 as well.I just called the bet on the river. I'm trying to get past that whole "NO WAY, he can't have "X" here" syndrome.I think that you were fortunate he didn't get your whole stack, but whether this was due to good play or poor play depends on you read. If you felt that there was a significant chance that he had a bigger flush (and I am not sure how you could from your betting except for some gut feeling), then I guess it's a decent play.I think you have to clearly raise on the flop or turn to define your opponent's hand. bdc30 0
Let's say the action was like this:Can anyone let the king high flush go?Nope, if that's the action, I'm dropping a stack, every time.In your second theoretical example, then I'm putting him on AQ with only A :diamond:and insta-calling......If you felt that there was a significant chance that he had a bigger flush (and I am not sure how you could from your betting except for some gut feeling), then I guess it's a decent play.I honestly read him for only the naked A and was waiting for a non diamond river to shovel. I questioned even calling the bet on the river.Out of the BB, I had no idea what his other card might have been, but I certainly didn't put him on the already made flush. That last probably saved me money, sadly. You want to shovel when you feel that your opponent missed the draw. Therefore, he will not call your shovel unless he's a fool or unless he has you beat. That can't be +ev. That is EASILY the silliest thing I've ever heard."I had this gut feeling that I was good the entire way, and could have priced him off a live draw on the turn- when he VERY LIKELY had NOTHING BUT a draw- but decided to let him draw for free, so I could only lose and never win!"So which was it? Were you calling down because your gut told you that you were drawing dead? Or because you decided he had the Ad and you got too fancy, but still decided to just ignore your read completely and dump off your checks on the river?Veeeery confusing :)Wang

Who knows, like I say, 97% of the time, I'm ending up all in here, not quite sure HOW I didnt.
