Playing in a Limit-ring game, I got KK. I raised in early position, I had been playing tight all game and got called by the two loose players on the table. This is a low limit at £3/£6 so the level of play was probably around my own. These guys had played on suited connectors and very low pairs even after being raised throughout the time I had spent on the table so I thought that if an Ace came I may still be ahead but to watch out for low and suited cards. The flop came :A
A
2
Here I was thinking that I was far ahead as the possibility of one of these guys holding an Ace now was much lower, and the mid cards didnt come up.I was first to act so I am just wondering what I should have done here...<---Dont read this (because Eddie said not to)---->What I actually did was to check here, the other two players checked, a 7 of diamonds came up next and i check-raised on the turn making both players fold. Was this a good play or not?

i dont like checking the flop, i think you could argue both sides well thoughIf you bet, and one opponent has an ace, they will probably think you will pay them off, so thye could raise, which would make an easy foldhowever, if you check and they bet, they could have an ace or they could have a 2 or a bluffBetting the flop lets you know where you are in the hand

I think checking the flop here is a good play for two reasons:1. If you bet out, to me it looks like a bluff because say you had AK and that same flop comes down are you really going to bet it? No you're going to check it and hope someone's hand improves to pay you off. 2. If someone bets into you, you can either fold or raise if you don't think he has it and if you get called or reraised you know you're beat and it's an easy lay down.

Why would you call a raise, and then fold on the turn? Wouldn't you just fold there if that was your plan?
