The night started out with his crush performing poorly for the Maple Leafs, and then upon arriving home he realizes his beloved Mustangs lose a heartbreaker in the last minutes of the night. Not that this doesn't happen to one team or another every given night, but for Serge and the Mustangs, if they don't win now, they see that their fate ahead is a gloomy one with few prospects for the future.
