I must say kido calling with his pocket 10's was very risky against carlos. David barely had enough to play the blinds next hand and the difference between 2nd and 3rd was about $250,000. Him winning the hand still gave him a 2-1 chip deficit against Carlos. Yes he was playing to win the tournament but that difference in money was so huge. Even if he didnt call and david got knocked out he'd still be down about 7-1, but it was already all in poker with the blinds being so high. From my point of view i would have folded in a heartbeat. Blinds were 50k/100k and david had 140k left. If he had 500-600k then i would probably have called, but knowing that i was locked up for 2nd place it would be an easy fold.

yeah, Daviud was short stacked buy Kido was going for the win, so he called, which I agree with and I think you could argue both sidesand even though David was down to less than the BB that doesnt mean he was going to be eliminated

Bad call. His best case scenario is doubling up and still being down 2-1 in chips to Carlos assuming that David is eliminated in the next hand. His worst case scenario is busting out and having to live with the fact that if he just threw the hand away, he's going to finish in 2nd place.Sure David could have come back, but it would take an incredible rush of cards for that to happen. Kido is not a pro, I hardly believe that a quarter million dollars doesn't mean anything to him. If Carlos even has one overcard to the 10's (which he did), he will only be down around 2-1 in the hand. I'm not taking those odds with 2nd place virtually locked up if I fold. I'm probably not folding aces here, but even if I had kings, I might have something to think about. With tens, not so much. Automatic fold for me.

that was TERRIBLE call.. it was one of those rare times I think you muck aces.... The Dragon has so few chips, he'd be all in twice in the blinds..... there's and kido had so few chips, and carlos was so much better than him, that he'd have to get EXTREMELY lucky to win the tourniment, even if he doubled up.. I think that he'd have been much better off folding aces, and hoping that the dragon busts out.. the tens was just a suicidal call..
