Table Sethfield on Full Tilt. There are some others playing. Almost full table.
I would consider myself a stud8/b expert, but some of Harman's 'pull' play is most instructive.

'Pull' generally just means calling(instead of raising) to keep more players in.
Sometimes in stud8/b, people think it's always ram-jam. But it's rare that on 4th, you'll have a monster, even though aggression is good, it's multi-way pots that bring you a lot of profit.
When a player calls and then raises the next street, that will suggest strength, so it may get people to fold - after putting money in on the previous street.
It's the hands that Harman played with a pull that really made me think. She played some marginal, deceptive hands.
(99)4 is not a beginner's hand and should often get check-folded on 4th. But she got lucky, and then 'pulled' with (99)49. Peeling with the brick made people think she still wanted low, and when she raised 5th, there was blood on the carpet!
Sometimes the games on Stars end up heads-up too quickly due to an unneccessary raise(I am guilty at times). It's very difficult to get low flushes and low str8's, so a lot of profit comes from splitting a larger multi-way pot, rather than always raising with decent hands and then you end up splitting a heads-up pot.
Sometimes you will scoop the other guy, but that's not the point(you might have scooped a bigger pot as well).
Finding the balance is tricky, and I enjoyed watching the way Harman played some of her hands.
Apologies for not getting hand histories. I suck at that stuff.

I don't even know if stud8 is one of Harman's better games. I have no idea of the Big Game players' different strengths.
Benyamine seemed to play closer to how I'd play - very solid, always having a decent hand, but his cards were slightly more obvious when revealed.
Not saying that's bad. If your hands are genuine low scoop types, then there's nowt wrong with raising them. It's just that Harman seemed to play a wider range and played them well.
