Just a quick question.What are the odds of picking up a set with pocket pairs, assuming the other two cards are still available?Thanks!jmontessi

8-1 against you hitting it on the flop.5-1 against you making it at all.19-1 against for either the turn or the river to be one of your two outs to make the set if you miss on the flop.

Well no I said that wrong. It's 19-1 against to make the set on the turn, and it's 19-1 against making the set on the river. 19-1 against per card. Not 19-1 against for both cards combined. For both cards combined... I don't know.

Actually it's 22.5 to 1 on the turn (2 outs, 47 unknows = 2 good: 45 bad = 1:22.5) and 22.0 to 1 on the river.It's about 10.5 to one (a little more, but not much I think) to get them on the turn or the river
