How strict is the whole tight/aggressive theme of omaha play? Can a player win in omaha loose aggressive even though you technically want to always draw to the nuts?

You can get really loose in position even against preflop raises.Most people overplay their aces or bet with nuts only so you can buy a lot of pots in position.

My last omaha session I saw about 85% of flops, and ended +2 buyins after 90 minutes. You can be loose and win, but you need to play reasonably well postflop to do it. Oh, and you have to be able to not tilt. Tilt in omaha is sooo much worse than holdem because a lot more hands look attractive.

You really don't want to be too loose out of position. Playing lots of big pots in position and fewer, smaller, pots OOP is one of the biggest edges a good PLO player has. In position though, it's OK to see a lot of flops with hands that have potential if they hit. As long as you don't continually put yourself in bad situations by overplaying two pair hands, calling down non-nut flush draws, etc., it's OK to see the flop with quite a few hands more than your opponents.
