I am primarily a NL tournament player. I currently play absolutely NO cash games. I know cash games is where the money is at, and the swings in NL tournies can be brutal, so Im looking for a cash game to add some money to my bankroll for tournaments and SNGs. Now Ive been reading HH's and articles and I read something about having 300 BB for the limit you want to play. Does this mean with $200 I should be playing .25/.50? Also, I have money on both PS and FT...is one site softer than the other in LHE? thanks for taking the time and any other general tips would be appreciated

Yeah, you should have at least $150 to play .25/.50, assuming you are a winning player. 300 BB is a generally accepted minimum for full ring LHE, for short handed, I'd want at least 500 BBs as the swings are retarded.I haven't played small stakes hold 'em on FT in a while, but my guess would be that Stars is softer, but I don't know how the Party donks spread out, I know a lot probably went to FT as well as Stars.

if you play NL tourneys, why would u want to switch to LHE? Much more swings and from what I hear there are a lot softer games @ nl than lhe.

Still, since you're more familiar with NLH and a rookie to side games, I'd suggest playing low stakes NL side games first. Small stakes NL is always pretty juicy no matter what site you're on. As for party donks, I think most of us went to Stars.

Stars is looser than Fulltilt, although I love everything else about FTBodog is pretty juicy too.
