I think you should have c-bet the flop, and then lead again on the turn. As played, I think it's a fold on the river. As loose as the villain is, he could really have anything here, and you can surely find a better spot.

I am pretty sure this was a slowplayed straight or at least two pair. You might be getting bluffed but laying down the best hand here isn't the end of the world.

I think you were dead on the turn. As played, you fold.The looseness of the villian comes out in the fact that he played KT, T8, QJ or Q9 to a raise and a call out of position.

Could very well be a low set, but his turn check is dangerous. might be a player who doesnt play much so doesnt see many sets, and figures to slow play the hell out of it.or KT, QJ.. either way, your river bet should have probably been around the 5. keep the pot smaller.and if he pushes like an idiot, u ca nthrow it away easier.not too mention arent really any hands besides KQ who would call 10 on river

A very easy fold. Your river bet seems to be what it is, a c-bet of hitting the turn, and the part of his range that will make this move AND that you can beat is pretty limited.

naw, lots of hands to pay us off for a small bet, but not really that many that would pay off 10 here unless they have US beat.

against a maniac that is willing to check raise the river with air I check behind. Against a normal player I bet all day long.

Say you're playing this hand and you bet 5 or 6 on the river and villian raises to 15 or 16....are you calling or folding? I think im paying him off more often in that spot because the chance he's making a play goes way up IMO.

The thing is, river bets will depend a lot on your read of the player, and how the hand has played out.If you have a good strong read or idea, and you want to extract or bluff a person, you should know the correct amount.Sometimes a small bet can look like a value bet or weak attempt at a bluff.so the question then becomes, what does your bet look like?
