To say.....$40? Yeah I know, Im finding it hard to be aggressive, to the point im losing out on easy money, such as this hand. When he re-raised me on the flop, I started thinking Q7, Q8, doubted 2 clubs...you dont reraise with 2 clubs. Villian has been steadily increasing his BR as you can see since max buy-in is $100. Not overly aggressive, but solid player.Thing is, yes 2pr is a good hand, hell one of the best I could hope for with 7-8...but its not invincible.....I checked river cause I knew if I bet, I would only be getting called by something that beat me, but looking back I think a raise to $40 on turn would have been better. What do we think?

I say you make the move on the flop. He made a min raise and you let him have control of the hand. I say send it back to him for about $20-25 and see what he does.

Probably not, but this is a blind battle, so maybe.Repop the flop. You're both deep enough that you don't have to slow down just yet. Plus not a lot of turn cards you're gonna like.As for raising the turn - if you're raising this you're raising it to basically turn your hand into a semibluff drawing to a 4-outer boat, and/or you're raising it to try and see a free showdown. Not likely that villain is backdooring into a flush so not a pressing need to be vigilant in protecting your hand. In other words, you're not raising this for value - there's not much he can call a turn raise with that you're ahead of.
