I think you did just fine, once again..enjoying your posts. I have to agree with the last poster...he is chasing.. He could of had multiple hands here...I don't know of what type of player he was but I doubt he was on a pocket pair of 9's or 10's and what scared when the ace hit. I'm just trying to figure out why he raised preflop and bet out weak...why bet out at all if you are going to bet out weak...which brings me back to he was chasing somekind of straight...though even that doesn't seem plausible since he raise preflop...and I doubt he raised preflop with J 10 or 9 10. Maybe he had something like A 10 suited or something and picked up a heart draw on the river...but then again..he should of put in a nice raise when the other heart hit...anyways...i'm bored at work and thats why I'm overanalyzing all these hands...i'd like to see what he had though.

I'm also not sure what you're looking for here. I would have bet the post on the flop considering his raise pre-flop and the Ace, but you may have made even less given the way he played after that I don't know. I have a hard time realistically putting him on a hand considering his "big" raise preflop and what looks like two feeler bets on the flop and turn... he didn't try to steal it and he didn't check the turn so??? maybe he was just holding two face cards or jacks or tens something like that... thats what makes me think you could have made some extra money on the flop--it doesn't really seem like he had a clue. also I'd be glad to help you with your betting this weekend when I flop aces full.
you killed humor...

I prefer larger raises on the flop and turn. The reason is because the guy is leading out for the minimum bet. Often, that is a sign of someone trying to get others to "only call" so that the player can draw cheap to the next card. If he had an open-ended straight draw, that 6 on the river might have completed it and you would have been in poop land. My advice could be wrong, of course, depending on your read of the player.
