1000 Plo8, Turn Decision With Aces

Recommended Posts

1000 plo8, six-handedSB - $1250Hero - coversI am Button with Ac Qc As 3s.UTG limps, ..., I raise to $45, SB cold-calls, ..., UTG folds.($110) Kc 7c 5hSB bets $55, UTG folds, I raise to $275, SB calls.($660) KsSB bets $660, Hero ...SB has $245 behind. If I call this turn, I plan to call any river and bet his remaining stack if checked to on any river. No read on SB unfortunately, he is new and I have never played with him before. I just know that in this game, for the most part, people DO think beyond their cards (at least a little), and I am pretty much playing aces face up here (I think).Thanks,AseemP.S. I have been talking about this with a friend and the numbers put me at roughly 35% against a non-boated trip kings (a little better if he has no low draw). So that suggests an easy fold, but I am still a little unsure.

Easy laydown on the turn.It is unlikely he puts you on aces - but he probably does go for A2 with flush draw. He probably has A45K or something like that and was betting out his 2 pair. Maybe A2K, but less likely. You probably have 1 out which may well only win half the pot. Just let it go and wait for next time.JKoS: If he has a set on the flop but little or no low, then it makes sense for him to wait for a safe turn before getting too excited....but in this case I would have expected him to check/call the flop. That would be with something like KK25ds.

I first eliminated that villain had A2+2 pairs on the flop or else most players would had chosen to go to war.Now I think that villain had AK+some lows is reasonable, but I think our high draw is not completely dead even villain had a trip (I still have not convinced myself that villain had made a boat or villain had A2K). But based on the pot odd folding is the right move too if we can put villain having a King even though I think our low draw is still good but too bad we don't have cfp. Yeah, since we don't know villain I think it's good to wait for another spot.Good lay down and good posts.
