The weasel was lucky enough to squeak out a point as the Cheap Thieves win their first ever game in a shootout, thanks to a goal from Jason Pominville. A late goal by LA with just 23 seconds to play earned Serge a lousy point in the loss.

The Thieves are now 11-10-0 on the season. Not sure how everyone else did tonight as I was kinda busy today.

I love it, deep into a major event, played 25 hours in two days, and still logs on to chirp about a fantasy hockey win.

Trust me, I'm way more addicted to this pool that I am a silly poker tournament. I have my ESPN phone on the table and get up to the minute alerts on every goal. When Pominville scored I cheered so loud everyone thought I doubled up, lol!

At the end of the night, I yelled out really loud, "KOVALEEEEEEEEEEEEV!!!!!!!!!!!! WITH THE GOAL. WHAT A PLAYA!!!"

I'm sick dude, totally sick. I hated not knowing how the other teams in my division did tonight. I'm so used to running a ticker myself.

I did the exact same thing Saturday night, spent more time cursing my phone for not getting data service out in the sticks than I did actually playing my cards, ended up busting pretty early in the tournament I was playing. But it was worth it, because I could go watch the end of the Sabres game and get some updates on my players (my team blew out their opponent 5.5 to -0.5)

These pools are addicting as hell, you really have no idea until you're in one, making every decision yourself.
