ajs510 122
I've been trying to find a print of my favorite Picasso painting (Accordionist or L'Accordéoniste, created in 1911) for a while now, and I've had absolutely no luck with the search. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't find it anywhere (despite seemingly *every* other piece of canvas he ever painted on being available as a print *somewhere*). Anyone who feels up to the challenge, please provide a link where one could purchase such a print if one were so inclined...Here's a picture of the original, which is currently on display at the Guggenheim. Thanks!

ajs510 122
Thanks a lot, I appreciate that :)That particular print is kind of on the small side (only 12 x 18, whereas the original is actually 51 x 35), so if anyone finds a print that's closer to the real deal, I'd be very grateful. Otherwise, I'll be purchasing the Ebay one WTQ. Thanks again
SBriand 4
Did you check art.com already? They have 51 pages of Picasso work and I want to know if you went through it before I go through the next 40 or so.

I've been through everything on every poster site I can get to, with no joy thusfar. I'll probably check it when I get home, no need to scour through 50 pages unless you're really, really bored. Who would have ever thought this would be so difficult?I love that you can spend 6 hours of your workday on a poker forum, but not Art.comculture schmulture.have you considered just purchasing the original?A. The work filter designates that site as "Nudity", which makes some sort of weird sense, I guess. B. Purchasing, no. Walking in, ripping it off the wall, walking out, yes. I could sell both of my kidneys on the black market every day for the rest of my life (which probably wouldn't be too long without either of my kidneys) and still not come close to being able to afford that painting. It's awesome though, I sit and stare at it.

SBriand 4
I emailed the Guggenheim...Dear Customer, Unfortunately, the Accordionist by Pablo Picasso is unavailable for purchase throughout the Guggenheim stores. It is a part of our permanent collection, but it has not been reproduced in a poster format. We apologize for this inconvenience but have a few resourceful websites worth visiting. Please visit: WWW.ALLPOSTERS.COM WWW.ART.COM WWW.BAREWALLS.COM WWW.EASYART.COM and WWW.PRINTFINDERS.COM.
LongLiveYorke 38
have you considered just purchasing the original? If you do, be sure NOT to punch a hole through it with your elbow. That may not be a great idea. It's awesome though, I sit and stare at it.Have you seen the person yet? What do you think she's doing?

ajs510 122
I love how you can think of 101 ways to dismantle a body, and another 101 ways to get rid of said body and all its parts, but you cant find a friggin poster on the internet.Any idiot can use a chainsaw, a rowboat, and a set of logchains in the middle of the night, but finding a poster that apparently has never existed is hard goddamnit! SBriand 4
This print has to be out there somewhere. This is getting crazy. If I had any skills I would make one myself and then sell them and make MILLIONS!!!
Wandigo 1
My step-sisters husband is an artist and also an art teacher. I e-mailed her to see if she could ask him if he knew much about it, so I'll let ya know when I hear back.

LongLiveYorke 38
Thanks, I appreciate the effort. If you can't find this particular one, there are many that basically look exactly like it. It would probably be easier to find posters of them. Try "Ma Jolie", which is right now in MOMA in Manhattan. It's one of my favorites and I've seen it in person many times (I love MOMA, anyone who goes to NYC and doesn't go to the Museum of Modern Art is missing out).
