indeed. nothing wrong 'bout it. unless MP3 was a very by-the-book player whose raises only meant two pair or better... in which case you slow down on the turn. but that is completely read-dependent. otherwise, you played the hand fine.aseem

im guessing MP3 had QJ/KQ/AQ. no idea what the other guy had. i've given up on trying to read passive players' hands. they call two cold on the flop, so it seems like they chase any draw for any price, but they stay in for the river when no draw seemingly hit. maybe he flopped the straight but didn't realize it was the nuts, so he played it really passively? maybe he has AJ or something, and isn't convinced with the two-way capping that he's beat. or maybe he has a weak queen and thinks he might have the best hand. or maybe he's just retarded and has AK. who knows.aseem

Am I missing something? I think that as soon as the second Q hits the board and the betting picks up, you have to slow down. Any queen has you beat.
