CobaltBlue 662
http://youtube.com/watch?v=wKpdcDky4sII'm sure a lot of you have seen this before. It's one of my favorite animated shorts ever. The cynicism/pragmatism is pretty amusing. The reason I bring it up is that I passed a bunch of hefty girls on the walk back from class today and once again realized that I'm pretty shallow when it comes to looks...and in a sense hypocritically so. The thing is...I don't know how to not be shallow.
hank213 1,824
Like many things in life, we laugh because it's funny, and we laugh because it's true.I'm the same way. I know I'm no Brad Pitt, not even close, but still the eye and the mind always go to the Aniston/Jolie caliber women. I guess I'm just well conditioned to delude myself into believing that one day I can land the uber-babe, this is delusion is re-enforced by the fact that I've had hot girlfriends in the past. So the question is: Do I hold out hope that I'll strike it lucky again, or subordinate my delusions/hopes and settle?oink oink

Nice to see that it is now."My anus is bleeding!"Yeah, big fan of Rejected too.I guess I'm just well conditioned to delude myself into believing that one day I can land the uber-babe, this is delusion is re-enforced by the fact that I've had hot girlfriends in the past. So the question is: Do I hold out hope that I'll strike it lucky again, or subordinate my delusions/hopes and settle?See, I've had little in the way of reinforcing that delusion. I've had a couple of girlfriends in college that were cute enough...but not "gorgeous" or anything. And honestly, I don't really need gorgeous, I don't think. The more I get to know certain girls, the more physically attractive/unattractive they can become based on their personalities. That said, it's hard to overlook weight. I think that's partially because I'm a skinny guy.
