Mid-late sng, $150 blinds, 6 people in it (3 places pay).UTG ($2200ish)Button ($5k)Me($3k)dealt 79oUTG limps, button limps, sb folds, I check, ready to drop it as soon as possible.Flop 6TJ rainbow.check, check, check.Turn 8, 2 hearts on board now. I hit my straight and lead out with half pot size bet, $300. UTG raises to $900 (leaving him with about 1k), button folds. Now, this guy seemed pretty weak, I wouldn't put it past him to bet on a flush draw or top pair here. He'd called down some real weak hands and made terrible river bluffs on even worse hands. The only reason he wasn't out yet was a lot of luck on a couple hands where he caught big and got action. What would you do at this point? I reraised, putting him all in. With only $450 invested, was it good to risk another 1600 on a non nut straight? Seems obvious that I should do this, but kinda curious as to opinions in a situation like this, as it seems to be a leak in my game. Will post results tomorrow, though I'm sure you can see where this is going.
how would you play it?

Yup, I put him all in. Sucks to be drawn out on, but you shouldn't be more cautious just because it happens.

Agree with the pushYou won't find a better spot
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Turns out he had Q9 spades and called of course. No help on the river and I was crippled, going out 2 hands later on a TT vs AK.Anyway, nobody thinks they could fold this after investing so little, even if you're pretty sure you're behind to the higher straight? This guy never raised except on the river a couple times as a bluff, so I was sure he was very strong when he raised me (standard calling station). It seems like I lose a lot of money on 2nd best straights running into top straights, so didn't know if I should ever just lay it down cheaply when I'm fairly sure I'm beat. At that point in the SNG, I could have easily made it to the money just playing premium hands and probably gotten 1st/2nd if I had folded.
