I think you'll get a basic response of build a stack early, push any +ev situations... basically you'll need to build a big stack early so you can chip away at the small stacks.

There really is no universally correct strategy for rebuy tourneys. Depending on your table, you'll need to find ways to exploit edges. Sometimes you'll be at a table full of guys who want to gamble a lot early to build a stack, sometimes people will play really tight. Very table dependent. I've found in these sats that people tend to play pretty similarly to how they would in a regular tourney during the first hour, so just play your standard game. Definitely take the rebuy right away so you start with the max.
And essentially, satellites are very much about survival. They aren't real poker at all toward the end. You need to survive to the bubble with a roughly average stack, and at that point you aren't looking to play pots whatsoever, but simply looking for spots with good FE. You should almost never be calling raises, but instead looking to stay afloat untilpeople make enough mistakes to bust themselves (and they will).
