solderz 0
What are you guys voting on?this is not a presidential election im sure, or I probably would have known about it earlier..ty for putting up with my Canadian ignoranceWe are voting for the legislature (senate and the house). Some, not all, of the members of both are up for re-election. Since most people in the US think that the legislature has done a horrible job, most incumbents are behind. hank213 1,824
what is this "voting" you speak of? If I do it, do I win a prize like a new car or briefcase full of money?
Ouch-8s 5
what is this "voting" you speak of? If I do it, do I win a prize like a new car or briefcase full of money? In Arizone, yeah, maybe... PROP. 200: AZ Voter Reward Act Would create a lottery with a $1 million prize for people who vote in the primary or general election. It would be funded through unclaimed state lottery prizes. I'm sure the same sound logic he used to get to the polls will be applied once he's inside. God help us all.

keith crime 8
what you have to know about MTV and others telling people to vote is that they feel that their viewers etc will vote their waythe initiative that was cool was the one Michael Stipe was leading with the DMV that made it easier to votestill anyone trying to get someone to vote is really trying to get them to vote for their sideThe next time you see Rush Limbaugh registering blacks or Jesse Jackson handing out pamphlets at golf courses will be the first
