We are voting for the legislature (senate and the house). Some, not all, of the members of both are up for re-election. Since most people in the US think that the legislature has done a horrible job, most incumbents are behind.
Life is like a game of cards. The hand that is dealt you is determinism; the way you play it is free will.

Hitler was not motivated by hate.
Gervais: What do you worry about, that you've heard on the news?
Pilkington: I heard something about worms getting teeth.

PROP. 200:
AZ Voter Reward Act
![]()

Would create a lottery with a $1 million prize for people who vote in the primary or general election. It would be funded through unclaimed state lottery prizes.

that's horrible
it essentially makes voting worth like a quarter to someone
it would be better if you got in the lotto by not voting
anyone who doesn't think voting is worth a quarter shouldnt vote

I think that is digusting. It would just bring idiots to the polls, who would elect more idiots into office.

all I can say is that I am sick tired of the McCaskill v. Talent bullshit coming out of Missouri...not that I should be surprised the same thing happened when she ran for Governor of Missouri two years ago
Thank god I live in Illinois...and yes I will be voting first thing tomorrow morning. Since I work for the state I get the day off...yay me

That's one of the things I don't like about MTV's voting campaigns: only a retard is voting because Gideon Yago told him to. I'm sure the same sound logic he used to get to the polls will be applied once he's inside. God help us all.

Man, we disagree here. That's probably the ONLY thing I like about MTV. Period.
