That's a good story - plus a good lesson. If you only raise with, for example, AA, KK, QQ, and AK, your opponents will eventually get a read on you. So, add to your premium hands one or two random hands that you will always raise with - like the King Crab. You pointed out many benefits of this - like you get more action, and it is harder to get a read on you.Peace,Opie
Now, much has been said about the worthlessness of advertisement in low limit games, 'cause people aren't paying much attention anyway, but I don't really agree. Yes, advertisement often is a waste of money, as people often aren't that attentive. Yet, if you play only big hands, hour after hour, week after week, and you play in a small card room, people will start to notice, after a while, and stop giving you action. Now, if you play a terrible hand like K3, raise with it, and DANCE an insane dance after you win, saying " Pinch Pinch, Pinch Pinch" under your breath.. this is something that people can't ignore, that will stick in their mind and their craw for a long time... Notice, internet players, how little value advertising with Krablar will have online, since you don't have the dance as a Hammer to stick that hand in their mind. In short, don't just raise on garbage once in a while, make sure everyone KNOWS you do...

Wot's smasharoo, and how dare it rise to usurp his holiness, the Krablar... ( Please, please please don't confuse the might of Krablar with his foul mistress, the Quablar... she will only lead you hell with her siren's song and temptation).

Krablar is now in paragraph form.. Now the increadibly hard task of reading a run on paragraph will now be eased with... Spaces!!! I hope this has added your viewing enjoyment..

This may be the funniest thing I've read on here. I don't know what's funnier, the dance itself or saying "pinch pinch" under your breath while doing it.

You all can say you knew me when... If you don't think I've rubbed one off, thinking about crab dancingafter the final hand of the WSOP, singin' pinch pinch, then you just don't know me well.. look for a Hawaiian shirt, a tie, and a dance, boys...

Very funny read... I think I'll start laughing everytime I look at K3 again, just picturing the King Crab dance. This is really going to mess up my game.

The Krablar Dance sounds a lot like the dance the Dr. Zoidberg does on Futurama. You just need to add the woop-woop-woop sound (kinda like Curly from the Three Stooges) and it would be complete.Great story.

For some reason completely unbeknownst to me, a three is nicknamed a crab. Pocket threes have been known as crabs. Hence K-3 is a king and a crab.

It's like the crab's pincher... get it? Pinch Pinch, Pinch Pinch. Sounds f ing dumb to me, but funny none the less.. My second favorite name is K-9 being a Saw mill, 'cause Cowboy Wolford, driving home from a poker game where he got his but kicked, while they were driving by a sawmill, said" even the guys in that saw mill wouldn't have been dumb enough to get busted with king nine..." hahahahahah

Turn a 3 90 degrees counter-clockwise, and it resembles a crab. 3Hmmm, I changed the font size of that '3' from 'normal' to 'huge'. Doesn't seem to huge to me...

Actually, I had king crab for dinner last night. And neither it, nor it's pincers resembled threes to me.However, " and if I don't win with King Crab, I can't dance" just plain cracks me up every time I picture it being said at a card table.I don't know if it's been a long day, if this is really as funny as it seems, or if I'm finally just losing it after a long battle with keeping sane. But it's just so funny. Thanks BigDMcGee.

Something tells me I may end up seeing the dance at my local casinos. I might lose a bunch of money if I ever decide to try to win an opportunity to piss off a bunch of people...and dance.

I still think of it an laugh.. and while each krablar dance is it's own special snow flake, that one was the best.. I mean, can you imagine how crazy that sounded to the people at the table?

I call pocket 3s crabs because my last 3 girlfriends all had crabs, it's really easy to remember that way. So I guess that would make ME King Crab.
