Vade 0
Ugh, I know this is bad but...I'm in the BB with 2-7-10-KA very unspectacular hand, but it is the BB6 see a flop which consists of 2-7-10 with 2 hearts I'm thinking...hmm any of those pairs makes me a full house, so I bet 30 cents (1/2 the pot)K on the turn, off suit giving me four pairsI bet the pot and immediately get raisedWhat should I put him on here? I have a pair of everything on the board, can a set really be possible? Could he be betting with a straight draw? 8-9 or J-QSo I call the raise (it was a 2x raise, but I admit that curiousity got the best of me here) He had position so I'm trying to put him on a hand when a Q comes on the river. It is not a q of hearts, so there is no possible flushHad it been either a 9 or an A I would have folded with no problem, thinking that the draw has a good 8 outs, but this is a gutshot card right? Only A-J is a possibility, but I check. The bet is 3 dollars. I think it's almost 2/3 the size of the pot at this point, but I was focused too much on what he could haveYeah, I called it, mostly out of my damn curiousityI didn't put him on QQ since I bet the flop and the turnI didn't think he had A-J, unless of course he had A-Q-J or something like thatWhat do you think he had? Absolute 0
I could only provide help on this hand with information about how many players saw your flop bet, how much was in the pot, etc.But assuming only this particular villian called on the flop. That means going in to the turn, the pot has $1.20 in it.On the turn you bet the pot, making the pot$2.40, and he raises it $2.40 more, meaningyou are getting 2 to 1 odds in the pot to hit a boat (you have to assume you are behind on the turn). The odds of hitting a boat here are 6 to 1.Remember, four pairs is no good.=)
Swift_Psycho 1
Was he a hold'em player who thought it was time to stop screwing around and decided to push his almighty aces on the turn?
akishore 0
actually, it's tough to notice, but a Q does complete a double-belly-buster straight draw.the board was 2-7-10-K.if i hold J-9-x-x, i have an open-ended straight draw. an 8 gives me a J-high straight while a Q gives me a K-high straight.the river should be an easy fold though. he raised you after you bet the pot... nobody does that on a draw, plus all you had was two pair, not even top two.most likely he was slowplaying a set on the flop or he hit a set of kings on the turn. it's very possible that in either of those cases, he had a flush draw or a straight draw to go along, e.g. K-K-J-9.aseem
tskillz187 0
KKJ9 J9 gives him a double belly buster and although its unlikely he has a set it happens all the time in omaha! He may have a heart draw in there too. I hope im right!
