I'd really like to threebet that turn, but that CR is kinda scary. I d8unno the pot might be small enough to fold this one, I know it sucks folding TPTK, but I can see QJ here more than I'd like to or ***shuddeer**** 89. The play isn't all that bad, too many 1/2 players play utter crap with no regard to position because "it's suited". QJ is really staring me in the face here I think

i like 3betting the turn...it gives you more info.....he would prob cap with qj but he could just as easily have kq....i just don't think you have enough info to assume your beat yet and a 3bet on the turn would help that....if the action gets capped on the turn you can then just check/call his one bet on the river

Anyone else think AK is a possible holding for villain here? Yeah, I know, "Why would he limp with it?", but I've seen it before, so it's possible IMO.I'd probably play it the same as you, for better or worse.

I think 3-betting is chip spewing.Maybe it's because im on a bad run at all 4 sites I play at ( :? ) but I really dont think it accomplishes much. Your redraws are all apt to splits and your AQ just got C/r'ed on the turn.

i think i played it OKthe villian had 10Jo.slowplayed the flopC/R the turni like how he played it post-flopKDawg's comment about folding in a pot this small is thought provoking, but my thoughts are I am probably ahead or split 1 in 4

"i like how he played it post-flop " sorry new to the forum and dont know how to quote just one line... but i think he played it post flop horribly, there is a straight already on the flop, and 2 very possible straight draws, and a flush draw. He needs to jam that pot on the flop, imo

I could have KQ, but thats about it for strong straight draws I could have. His call on the flop really makes me think I still have the best hand, and it would call a weaker player a few more bets. Luckily I slowed down and it only cost me one more bet.

j :D q :) you could also be holding (depending on the jack that he was holding, which I think is very dangerous to his hand, I still contend that jamming the flop is correct, but I see your point.

I would think he was holding Q7 or maybe slow-playing a set of sevens. You have to realize he did not raise preflop, nor did he bet on the flop. That's why I don't think he has QJ or even just a jack.

i think you played it fine.raised pre-flop.continuation bet with overcards on the flop.hit TPTK, get check-raised, calling is correct here. three-betting is bad because you got check-raised. that screams:1. slowplayed flop.2. two pair on turn.3. hit straight on turn after limping with AK.i think the pot is big enough to call two more bets with (one on the turn raise and one on the river), but i'm not sure.aseem
