GrinderMJ 0
I think if you are flat calling the flop, you are looking for a safe turn card (there aren't many) to get it all in with. This is definitely one of them. Shoooooooooooooooooooooooove

BeaverStyle 1
why are we betting so much on the flop?
HijackedAffairs 0
why are we betting so much on the flop?Desperate swipe at the pot. I think betting around 2000 might keep us from getting to deep into a pot where we don't belong. As played, it's a really tough situation. Probably one I'd make a mistake on as well. But I don't think I can just call a reraise. Gotta push or get out.
Fade2241 0
This is a super tough hand to play IMO.Anytime I get in a situation like this I divert my focus to reads. I think this is totally a read dependant shove or fold. With no reads I think the Button’s range is likely Adx or 99-66 with a diamond so I will probably go broke to a made flush or any other big hand. I am trying to find reasons to fold this, though…

IQCrash 1
That's such a sickly coordinated flop that without the added value of holding the J in our hand, I think I'd probably c/c or c/f that flop, depending on villains bet.
Actuary 3
I like flop bet...now shove or fold after Button raises and SB foldsPot too big to let all those potential scare cards come
IQCrash 1
after SB folds, I"m shoving the flop. There's plenty in the pot to move in now. Please tell me you're kidding. Please tell me that even after our initial 1200 pf investment and our 3500 flop investment - you're not really considering shoving $24,000 chips into the pot on a board of 2 3 4 holding just J J

We took a shot at it, it's a disgusting board for our hand - we should be done with it. Our stack is totally fine to give up an overpair here. After a really bad flop call (IMO), I guess you can make an argument that we're committed and can shove to the seemingly safe turn card, but ugh - I hate it. A made flush or straight protecting his hand to a AdX.It's not a matter of being scared, it's a matter of being able to let go of an overpair.
Actuary 3
It's not a matter of being scared, it's a matter of being able to let go of an overpair.Wouldn't most over pairs with a raise our flop bet?Wouldn't Ad often raise?A5 calling preflop?56?made flush protecting.. blah..ok...I'll go broke to that low probability handI'm trying to get chips, not just avoid going broke(note, I don't mind a flop fold, calling is 3rd best in my mind)
IQCrash 1
Wouldn't most over pairs with a raise our flop bet?Wouldn't Ad often raise?A5 calling preflop?56?An overpair w/ a would definitely raise us. He also said Villain is a lagtard, so A5, 56 and a multitude of other hands are in his range on the button. We can lay this hand down, Actuary - honestly it'd be okay
