Have any of you guys seen this pathetic excuse of a poker show?
All the players are absolutely retarded, example, a hand I saw last night
Two players had J8 and T9. The flop was AQT, player with T9 bet, player with J8 called.
The turn was a 9. Player with T9 bet, Player with J8 raised, player with T9 pushed allin and the player with J8 FOLDED!
Another thing is the shitty commentators, they basically ruin the hand by giving them away. example.
A player goes allin for 7-8xBB with A6o. If that player eventualy wins the pot, the commentators say things like, 'Yeah, well he has a short stack, he has to push with the Ace' If he's going to lose, theyll say 'I dont like this play at all, he doesnt have to push'

Being from Wisconsin, yes I've seen it... and I had the word "MUTE" on my screen in a matter of minutes.

That is classic midwest poker. These old men all play the same and they will play any 2 cards. I have played in a couple of these events and been donked out in every one. The production of the show is almost as bad as the play itself. Definitley a losing show but not a bad tourny!

I have played in two of these events. They take the top 20% from each qualifying round to the final day. The first event I was in I went from 65000 in chips and chip leader at my table to gone in about 6 hands. Not all bad beats but I went on tilt a bit after I had pocket kings on the button and the small blind pushed in with AJ and immediately after the hand he says I thought you were making a button move I didnt think you were that strong when flopping his Ace. I also lost a lot on a flor of 10 7 7 when the thrid 7 came on the river giving the guy 4 of a kind.
They are a little corny on their commentary but its the only thing around where you can buy in for $330 and possibly win $30-40 grand.
