I had a Halloween party on Saturday. I let three people sleep over because they got bombed. I also let them have fun with the $50 I had in Full Tilt Poker because my bankroll is on Bodog.Well, apparently is was more fun for them to launch into verbal tirades against Mike Matusow and some railbirds lol. At least that's what they told me after I asked if they knew why my chat was suspended. It might not even be worth it to ask for my chat to be restored, but how do their bans work? Set # of days or gone til you say pretty please may I have it back?

It's possible to talk yourself out of it. The good thing with FTP support is that they generally always reply.

wouldn't you be in more trouble for letting others play under your account?

If you can't spot the sucker within your first half hour at the table, then I must not be there.

Best part about Full Tilt is they forget things easily. I had an email stating that my chat was banned for a month, went on to check it out, and I was chatting it up. I guess they forgot about me and my donktastic tirades.

Full Tilt wont respond to my emails anymore...I had a few legit questions, and they will not respond. The email they sent me showing all of my tirades is HILARIOUS...I would post it, but probably would get banned from FCP

Usually they'll ban you for a month, then when the month is up, they forget to remove the ban. After the 30 days, you will most likely have to e-mail them reminding them that it's been a month and they'll remove it.

Yeah Full Tilt is pretty strict on chat bans. One more and I lose mine forever. Word of Advice:Don't say "PRTYPSUX IS FUC.KING PHIL IVEY NOW ALL OF YOU BOW DOWN TO HIM!!!"

Yeah, I got a similar 1 month ban for a comment made to Matusow. Wandigo has it correct.

if you only had $50, how were your friends able to chat with matusow and his railbirds?

Dunno. I've never had a real FTP bankroll. I've had it as low as $1 and been able to chat with anyone who has a red name. The account is at $0.00 now which is fine. Maybe they played and won a little? Shrug. I wouldn't tell FTP that someone else was on my account. I'd act like it was me. I might not even email them since I only play on Bodog. I was mainly asking in case I ever decide to switch sites - I'd like my chat to work in tournaments and stuff. Thanks for all the replies. It would more than a month if I ever do change so I'll just wait it out or whatever.

Is it illegal to let somebody use your account? What difference does it make, it's not like playing two accounts?

I'm sure it's against the Terms of Service for several reasons. But, Gavin Smith said on The Circuit that he let Mike Gracz use his account before....Yeah, kinda different from me letting my drunk friends screw around with 50 bucks. Just sayin' is all.
