Was This A Horrible Play, Limi O8b

Recommended Posts

6 handed omaha hi/lo ring game. I have the buttonLittle background, as soon as i sat down at the table, villian criticized one of my plays and announced to the table he is playing every hand he is dealt.- Dealt to hero (Ad Kc As 4d) 2 limpers, i raise too 2 bets, villian on my left calls, seat 3 folds, seat 4 calls...3 of us see the flop.- Flop Kc Js 8d Villian leads out, seat 4 folds, i raise it to 2 bets, he thinks for awhile and says "Let me guess, 3 jacks?" and just calls. - Turn Kh Js 8d 3d Villian checks, i bet, he calls.- River Kc Js 8d 3d 10dOpinions on the raise on the flop to take control and the bet on the turn? Again this would not be a play i would make without the information from him. After he says "three jacks" i figure him for a set of 8's or two pair. After the turn i think i am beat, but is leading out by putting him on a hand i think i can make him fold with my draw justified at all? or how would you have played it differently.

but how about assuming he is playing well postflop?
very important question.seriously though, i'd put him on KJ or so as played. betting the turn here is most often the correct play since we will like any low card or a board pair with our hand.that said, someone who says something like "three jacks?" often has something close to that hand themselves, so i'm not betting the river unless i improve.
