Don't have the HH anymore. This is a $5 rebuy tourney with blinds raising every 5 minutes.Rebuy time has long since passed. There are about 30 people left, top ten pay.My stack is about average, at 10000.Blinds are 300/600.I raise it, utg, with AKo, to 1500.UTG+1 calls.Next guy goes all-in for about 6k.Next guy goes all-in for about 15k.Next guy goes all-in for about 12k.Button goes all-in for about 2.5k.Blinds fold.Your thoughts on my play?I'll tell you that nothing weird happened here...I didn't fold where I would have rivered the royal flush, and I didn't call only to be beat by A2 on the river.I'm certain I made the right play here, and I did go on to win the tournament.Just trying to find out if, long-term, I did make the right play. Because, to be honest with you, I made my decision and acted on it immediately...it's not like I pondered for 30 seconds and let my timer almost expire....so, at the time, I "knew" the correct play....just seeing if I'm missing something.Yes...I'm gonna brag here...last night played three tourneys (two concurrently)...76 players, 98 players, 90 players....second, first, first.

We need payouts and readsAlmost for sure, it's a fold though.Way too likely most/all yours Aces are gone and there is at least 1 pp out.Not counting the chance of AA/KK.Unless you saw huge crazy moves post re-buy that would indicate anything other than you have about 15% chance here.I like shoving AK, not calling, generally. Also, it's never good to say you won tourney. It does impact peopleHow?Well, if you won, it tends to imply a call. Since that makes you big stack. Then again, perhaps I give people too much credit looking into things or not enough to dismiss them and be objective

You have to figure that some of your A/K outs are gone and both those guys that I bolded going all-in makes this a fold

Typically in these rebuys lots of people seem to forget that the rebuy period ended....BUT...not all of them.Reads - a typical mix of psycho-donks and solid players...I figured the last guy had the strongest hand, but since he had the smallest stack, I wasn't worried about him. I suspected at least two of my outs were gone, and that at least one was a pocket pair. Basically, if you put a gun to my head and made me guess, I say I was against one or two worse aces, one or two pocket pairs, and perhaps a KQ. I think my best-case scenario was 5/6 outs to win....my worst-case scenario was I needed the straight, with that losing sometimes too. But, to go from 10k to ~40k, and the chip lead, with blinds going up every 5 minutes, is that so bad a situtation?Payouts are $15 for 10th - $280 for 1st....I have invested $10...buyin and addon.I stated I won to make it clear this wasn't an "I called, was ahead, but got sucked out...did I make the right play?" post.Maybe I shouldn't have said that, because I didn't think it would imply anything, so I won't do that in the future.btw - it could also imply that I folded, and if I had called I would have busted out.

"cashing" implies that"winning" implies you called.lol.I"m sure no one is influenced by results around here.I'm paranoid.
The ACTUAL results are...I folded.Player 1 had TJsPlayer 2 had A9o.Player 3 had JJ.Player 4 had AA.Aces hold up...as do jacks for the sidepot. If I call, I'm dead.I folded here, and actually got to the final table as the chip leader."cashing" and "winning" imply what you want them to imply. I didn't post the results of the hand...if you want to jump to conclusions go right ahead...people jump to conclusions simply because you posted the hand anyway, so it's not any different.
