lordofelt 0
Hey guys I'm looking to make a deal in one of my fantasy leagues as another manager really wants Brodeur. He hasn't played very well early on this season but he's a stud every year and should improve his play I'd imagine. I think I can get Malkin and Thornton for Brodeur is this a good deal? If not what should I be looking for in exchange for Brodeur. Currently I have Gigueire of Anahiem and Ward of Carolina as well in net.also note that if I give up Brodeur I'll probably pick up Fleury from Pittsburgh, Raycroft from Toronto or Emery from Ottawa (although Emery is a backup to Gerber). sinc 0
Depending on how hte pool is set up, I would probably trade brodeur for 1 of those guys let alone 2.
Azreous 0
With two solid backups, that's an instant trade.
ajs510 122
Yeah, what they said. That goes for Brodeur in his prime during the Cup years, say nothing of how he's been playing so far this season. If there's another starter available that's a no brainer.

If Pittsburgh plays like they are right now he should get some solid wins even if his GAA and SV% are a little less optimal. Alternatively Lundquist, Raycroft and Ray Emery are all available as well. ajs510 122
lol @ 4 man league, it certainly feels that way. At very least, a 12 man where half the GM's are clueless...1. Lundqvist2. Fleury3. Emery4. Raycroft

Is that your ranking for the 4 goalies? Lundquist will get lots of wins I like to think with all the offence firepower on the Rangers, also shouldn't have to fight for playing time ditto fro Fleury I think hes started every game.
