Omaha Question

My buddy was watching me play, and we had an arguement... On 4th street i had bottom 2 w/ open ended straight draw and a K high flush draw. With a half pot sized bet to me, i decided to re-raise to basically put me all in. First, would any of you do this? Secondly, what are my odds hitting cards(i ended up going against top 2 with a lower flush draw)

what else do you need to know, stack sizes? Position? He acted before me... and had about 1.5-1 chip lead. what else?

Based on the info provided, seems like you had four outs for a full house, eight outs to make a straight, and about five more outs for the flush; but you really can't count on that many outs without knowing the other player's cards. Ballbarking the #'s really quick, it seems that, after the turn card, you were about 35% to make a straight, or flush, or full house.I don't really play Omaha too much, but I might have pushed.

Well ... what was your hand? What was on the board? What position was everyone in? Was it heads up? Was this player Tight? Loose? Was this a tournament? If it was how many players left? How close to the bubble/final table? All betting action prior to this? And even without all of that. If he has 1.5x your stack and he bet half your stack my money is on him wanting a call.And as far as odds go I would recommend Card Player.

sorry i didnt save the hand history but i think it was something like k q 10 8 double suited... and no it was a cash game on stars. Only a small raise by another player pre-flop and 2 callers. I flopped a pair and it got checked. Turn was the money card and made all my draws i think Jhearts.

I'm sorry. Either I'm tired or I'm just not seeing this right.I'll think about it for a bit.In the meantime I would recommend reading the post at the top of this forum. It has alot of useful information in it.

What was in your hand?Also ... if you had k q 10 8 are you telling me the j was the river card?You must have had your flush live on the flop or the turn then right?And am I to understand that there are three in the pot and all of you check the flop?

No, sorry i said the Jack of hearts was my turn card to make a lot of my draws possible. The turn also made my flush and straight draws. Honestly, im just asking if ud call for all your chips with these draws

Just straight off of this information, Assuming we're looking at a K Q J x double suited board. I'm folding here. If he wants to play for all his chips I figure him for at least A-10 which makes your straight draw no good. Or at least a split. And if he's suited with an Ax then you're flush draw is no good either.That just leaves your full house draw. Maybe.I think you're drawing real slim. You may be drawing dead. I just think he's too strong here. He want to play for too many chips to be screwing around on this one.Edit:Actually ... I just read the OP again. You ended up against top two pair and a lower flush draw? This is one loose loose Omaha game. And why a good read here might be profitable.What were the stakes?
