HiccupI drink more beer in tha summer and more Hard stuff in tha winter.Cold canadian winters creates the need for a drink that'll warm you up.I generally drink the hard stuff without mix,... unless the mix is a different liquor. Are you complete un-aware of the rhyme? It's true by the way, the carbonation enchances the effect of alcohol, thus the sickness when drinking liquor afterwards.

Are you complete un-aware of the rhyme? It's true by the way, the carbonation enchances the effect of alcohol, thus the sickness when drinking liquor afterwards.I don't think thats true. Why does carbonation enhance the effect of alcohol? And even if it does, why would this make you "sicker" afterward?

Why does carbonation enhance the effect of alcohol? And even if it does, why would this make you "sicker" afterward? It is true.and it's not the carbonation that he was saying makes you sick... it's drinking beer before the hard stuff. (am I right?)But yeah.... carbonation gets the alcohol into your system faster. Don't ask me how, it's just how it works.
LongLiveYorke 38
Why is soe beer called "Malt Liquor"?"Malt liquor" beer has a higher alcohol content than regular beer, so for the sake of government regulation, trade, etc it has to be labeled separately. Basically, it's just a bit stronger than regular beer

lvpro 0
i can mix beer, liquor, and wine all night and not get sick. i think that carbonation stuff is BS!!!Word. Last night, for instance, I drank a beer, then took a shot, then took two more shots, then took 3 more shots, then drank 2 more beers. I didn't get drunk (sadly), but I also didn't feel even a little sick.

LongLiveYorke 38
I've never really been a fan of beer. It always makes me too full when I drink enough to get drunk and I seem to get sick easier from beer. Hard liquor for me works faster and usually doesn't make me feel as terrible (when I drink only one kind). Don't get me started on mixing liquor, for instance. Sometimes it's okay, but for me, Tequila + anything = no good.

timwakefield 69
Wine? I like beer and liquor okay, but when you get drunk on red wine you feel all warm and happy. And no matter how much wine I drink I don't think I've ever thrown up from it.
