its 6:45 a.m here in vancouver..decided to play a $5 multi ...nothing like starting the day with a bad beat. :D I think im still a little tilted.PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (9 handed) converterUTG+1 (t1565)MP1 (t1870)MP2 (t6290)MP3 (t1310)CO (t1650)Button (t1395)SB (t1480)BB (t1230)Hero (t1840)Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q:heart:, Q:club:. Hero raises to t120.Flop: (t285) 7:heart:, 3:diamond:, 9:diamond: (2 players)Hero bets t120, Button calls t1035 (All-In).Turn: (t3280) T:club: (2 players, 1 all-in)River: (t3280) 6:spade: (2 players, 1 all-in)Final Pot: t3280Results: Hero has Qh Qc (one pair, queens). Button has Ts Td (three of a kind, tens). Outcome: Button wins t2835. Hero wins t445. :x

I am not denying the fact that it was a bad beat, however, I can't fault the guy who won. You made the correct play by raising out any potential draws on that board. However, in $5 tourneys, he probably figured you were overplaying top pair, or maybe a flush draw. Neither played it horribly, just an unfortunate outcome for you.

pretty much agree with youyeah its a bad beat....but he played it understandably, now if he called with like 22 and spiked the set, that would really suck

well..i never said i blamed him for calling..in fact i went all in because i knew i had him beat and wanted to double up, so i wanted him to call..just mad that the outcome was not in my favor. :D
