mikeysong 0
I think you got pretty much all money u possibly could unless villain is a super aggro donk.If you cap flop, bet turn and river and he only calls. Well, then this play vs that one gained u 1 more sb. I don't mind it, why get tricky right? The only alternative I think is good is:you could call 3bet, call turn, and raise river hoping for a 3bet - most likely he's calling the raise on the river anyhow, but this has best chance of getting that extra bet in. Zach6668 513
I don't like the c/r on the turn as we are shutting the 3rd player out, I say donk it.I could go either way on 3-betting/capping the flop.
GoingBusto 0
I don't like the c/r on the turn as we are shutting the 3rd player out, I say donk it.I agree. Shutting out a player that could pay us off for 2BB to showdown is -EV. Oh, and I am very much capping this flop. Don't think it's close, really.GB
CobaltBlue 662
I don't like the c/r on the turn as we are shutting the 3rd player outI kind of "slowplayed" by reflex and quite regretted that realization when it hit me.That's actually why I posted this hand...it's not just a "quad" hand...it's a position hand. JacKingOff_suit 0
When Hero just called the 3-bet on the flop, should he bet on the turn to get more bets because it doesn't make sense and will likely get called at least but more likely raised?"That's actually why I posted this hand...it's not just a "quad" hand...it's a position hand."Can you explain this a bit, blue? Thanks.
CobaltBlue 662
"That's actually why I posted this hand...it's not just a "quad" hand...it's a position hand."Being in worst position post-flop affects our decision-making...on whether to go for the cap, donkbet, c/r, c/c. If we were on the button, our ability to make the best decision would be much easier. If we were in different relative position, that would help also.
CoranMoran 0
I would fear that capping the flop would make MP fold his middle pocket-pair.So I simply call the 3bet here. But with our relative position to the most likely turn bettor, I certainly lead this turn to trap MP in the middle.--CM
