Slowplaying this flop is a very very bad idea.

I don't think that I get away from it, but I know that you flopped big, but I don't like checking the flop there.
Bet out, make it look like a continuation bet to get action. In this case, flopping this big, and based on the action, I find it hard to get away. However, if it hadn been 99, or a turned face card, you're giving other likely holdings a chance to not just catch up, but beat you. And at .50/1, unless you have a read on a really tricky player, you want to build the pot with Top Two if they'll call you with a weak A.
In this case, I just think you got coolered, and move on. You might have been able to get away from the All-in based on the action on the turn, but I know I have a hard time laying that down.

Well PF nothing indicates he has a big pair. Top two is so vulnerable I really hate it. There is an indication on the turn that your beat but I mean top two and a blank nine hits and you raise and VinceC re-raises that to mean seems like a strong flop hand unless he hit trip nines.
IMHO I would have gone broke. Unless I was playing UBER tight or something and making HELMUTHIAN laydowns.

How could you NOT get away? You're calling to try and split the pot at best.

My check on the flop was kind of a trap to koons. There were a few hands earlier where I would bet PF, and then in position, I'd check after him on the flop and he'd bet the turn every time and I'd fold. I had a good feeling that he would bet at this turn regardless and I could come over the top, but just ran into some bad luck with Vince.

Don't post results.
I saw that you said your check on the flop was to trap koons but you have to remember that this is a multiway pot and there are a lot of turn cards that you are not going to be happy with if the flop is checked around.
Given the way the hand played out you were going to go broke no matter what.. coolah.

Well, I certainly go broke here. However, if I were a good player, I might remember that the last few times I checked, the villain bet and I folded. This time he curiously checks and then re-re-raises on the turn. That's a pretty big indication of strength...
...and then I go, "I HAVE TOP TWO PAIR THE NUTZ I AM ALL IN".
I certainly wonder if this would be your response without the results. I don't think AK chops with A9.

No, Vince wasn't the one that did that, it was koons that would make that move. I didn't get in many hands with Vince from what I remember. koons bet the turn ($5) like I expected him to, but folded after Vince's re-raise.

AA played the hand with a little trickery here. I've been mixing plays like this into my game and it has been very productive. I actually thought he had 77 but I still probably reluctantly pay this off.
Give me a paper and pen so I can write about my life of sin. A couple bottles of gin in case I don't get in.

Ah, my bad. In that case, on the turn facing the original five dollar bet, I say, "I know I'm ahead of you, but I'm putting Vince on a set of aces," and I muck them face up, violating all rules of poker.
