First limper I tried bluffing and it failed miserably..I had complete air and he had TPTK and called me down..Besides that bluff, I had played tight, solid poker.

Does anyone push this preflop? If not, how do you play the flop? Open push? C/R all in? C/F? Really not sure what the best play is here

with 8 outs or less and 3 others with bigger stacks, I defintly dont' push that Ace board
You're also just a 100sb away from seeing 8 hands for free.

I c/c and see if I can hit the turn.

I"d call a bigger bet closing action than not.
And of course more so if more people called

With an M>8, I push that preflop against three limpers - unless someone was limping/trapping, it'd be tough for any of them to call of that much of their stack off especially with your tight solid image.

Since you checked your option, it's a good flop- I would lead 500 into the pot. You have eight outs and on the off chance someone has KQ, it cleans up your jack outs. Other players should put you on a 10 or a weak ace so it could go thru. With a short stack, I would press this hand and be all-in by the turn.

gobears,

Are we that deperate to play at a 2:1 disadvantage for all our chips in a pot that is still less than 40% of our stack ? I think the Ace makes it very strong we all called and need to make a hand.

I'm not against check/folding the flop if we just checked in the BB

But I think that there's an opportunity here to take the pot on the flop since it's possible that no one has an ace since no one showed strength preflop.

If someone pushes over our lead bet, then folding with 1,839 in chips would be acceptable. But if we get one caller, I'd probably jam the turn for fold equity at the sign that our opponent is weak.

I like the aggressive line here

What's wrong with checking, seeing what develops, and calling a bet if we have decent odds...

Yeah, just check and see what happens. If it was A67 I would be more tempted to bet.
