Thanks Ollie. You and I need to discuss trade. I have 1 more deal I'm looking to swing before the season starts, and I feel your team matches up the best for me to do that with!

I like this deal for me down the road. Obviously, short term its a boost for your offense but overall i think it worked out well for me.

Without looking at team needs and team depth (I have a decent amount of D prospects), you won this deal in a landslide.
The original offer was for Smid instead of Bourdon. I'm not sure I would have accepted that deal.

I was just loooking at my numbers for next year, and figure I can resign 17 players at $14.75 base salaries. The number will wind up being higher depending on where they all finish in the overall point standings. This should leave me with about $45.00 to sign 11 free agents. Maybe I will resign Kovalchuk!

assuming he doesn't extend them, he'll have the cap space to resign them, but with daveyg and biatch bidding as well, he'll still be in a tough spot.
i just wish tulane wasn't in my division!

He'll be able to sign 1 of them long term, perhaps both short term.
It's the only deal I got where the other manager wasn't requesting money in future years to help resign Kovy, so I had to make it work. Me getting money in the future was just a bonus.
Yes, he's a force this year now. Any night Kovy and Ovechkin both play, there's a chance the 2 of them alone will get him 6 points.

I hate sitting around being Mr Stand Pat GM but can't decide to build for now or build for the future. I guess if Tulane turns it around my mind will be made up!

The asdfjkl; owner, Lord Biatch would like to congratulate his team on the 3-0 division road trip but to get ready for a tough schedule coming up ahead.
