yikes indeed.my raise worked though. i knocked out the people i expected to and got heads up with the guy who played any 2 cards. position be damned and i'm leading on ANY flop. then he raises me.and balance bars taste awful.

This is easy.Given your read, he's raising with a huge range there, so we aren't folding.Next step. Extraction.Do we push, or call and let him keep bluffing? Again, that depends on your reads.Either way, you're probably going to get it all in, I'm certain you are ahead of his range, given the reads provided.- Zach

If this happened fairly recently, I would not be sure I'm ahead of this guy.

Assuming he is smart enough to understand table image...Someone who plays 90% of his hands, however, is not.

Agreed, but, no offense to the OP, that 90% isn't exactly a PT stat. it's perception. I see a lot of half way decent players at a 1/2 table that play 50% of their hands just because it's so loos passive preflop.

Even LAG players catch cards from time to time. Generally its better to have a strong hand instead of a mediocre hand when playing against this type of player. Players who try to 'break' a LAG with strong reads and mediocre hands generally end up on the losing end. Id wait for a strong hand like JJ or QQ on that kind of board to make a move than middle pair. I know its frustrating playing against players like this but if you are patient you will get paid off. In this spot you could be ahead or behind but if you are ahead you may not be that far ahead even if he is making a move with KQ or KJ or QJ and of those cards kill you on the turn. and if he is ahead with a weak 10 you are drawing to 5 outs.
