A group of friends and I are heading to Atlantic City this weekend for a poker bachelor party. Which casino has the best cardroom? Thanks for your help.

1) Borgata – Best room hands down, every game from 20-40 down is beatable, flat screens, the waitresses, the chairs, chips....its sharp, BL.2) Taj – Action, tons...more tables then the Borgata but you will also have to deal with the degenorites, it’s a local fest.3) Trop – Lots of regulars, good games, try the Pink game if you really want to play an action game. 4-8 is as soft as any game in AC.I am in AC once a month atleast and only play at the Borgata....the lines can be endless, get there before 12 to ensure a good spot or an immediate seat, the dealers switch at 1pm so that’s when they run the lists to open more tables. If you get there after 3, your f’d. just wait till you hear last call then throw your hand up.....i’m not kidding, its that bad.List was 240 deep for the 3-6 at one point a couple weeks back, the 1-2NL...forget it, its the #1 game there.

Thanks for the advice. We ended up playing at Ballys, which is where the out of staters were staying for the bachelor party. They had about 20 tables in the back of their Keno/Ponies/Poker room. One more question. Are any of the card rooms in AC smoke free? My only complaint about last night was the massive amount of smoke I had to deal with while I was there. I would gladly play live more often if there was a smoke free room.

The Trop is smoke free..I highly recommend them...the Taj is a little bigger, but just to dirty for me...

Heading to AC probably this Wednesday, for a daytime session. Did the Borgata information above apply to weekdays as well? Also, just curious as I tend to play most of my B&M on weekends (0nly get out a few times a year, since there is nothing local for me), are the games significantly tougher (more regulars, pros, etc.) on weekdays than weekends and evenings? Enough that I should concern myself with it?
