Very good article with one glaring omission, I believe. There's no consideration in the article of what effect the error may or may not have had on the tournament and the legal ramifications of it. I understand that you may not have been able to decipher who was the beneficiary of the mistake or beneficiaries, but I would have liked to have read some reporting of how such a mistake could cause liability for the WSOP and/or the nullification or challenge of the results of the tourney. Thanks for the information that you did provide, however.
