Jordan 1
it's a bad raise cause he should know you don't have 66 22 or 88. More than likely he has one of those hands. Also, if he is a good opponent, with your small raise he'll figure you probably have air. Most guys 3 bet here big to protect an overpair, not make it hardly double. The only hand you are ahead of here is KcQc or something similar that he'd limp utg and raise the flop with...but I really doubt min raise is that type hand...and IF it is, what is the point of your raise? he isn't going anywhere, and will probably (as he should) stick it all in after you three bet.Relentless aggression works in certain spots and you feel like a genious, and in other spots you feel like an idiot. I'm all for these type plays, but not really exactly in this spot.If he calls, which he more than likely will since you 3 bet so light, you are put in a precarious position on the turn cause your OOP and your Ac or Jc may not be live and you really have little to no read. You really should make these types of plays against players you know, and you think they know you, and will put you on a strong hand that they can fold to.- Jordan
antistuff 0
i really dont think people play back as much as it seems. it just starts to feel that way sometimes. only two kinds of players would pick up on you cbetting too much and not having anything, a very good one and a lag. ----against a random player, ide have to have been beating up on him pretty bad for me to think that he is doing something like this. and even then ill usually let him have it. stroke his ego. let him try this when you have a hand, which you will more often than not. fckthis 0
What happens if he just calls? Even if he is picking you off here, I still think its okay to fold here.
