Verdimme 0
Woa. Never fold that river for just one bet in a pot this large, unless he turned over his cards and showed you a flush.Turn is probably close between capping and 3 betting. I would call the 3-bet, not cap. When he leads/ 3bets you are probably behind. Just try to fill up and if you dont, pay him off for one bet.
MrNiceGuy 0
I don't even like the first turn raise. I'd just call and make sure you got the overcall. UTG is much more likely to have a straight or a flush than he is to have 2-pair or a set to be betting here.
CobaltBlue 662
Folding this river is a tremendous mistake.

But after we raise and he 3-bets and we have a third party in between do you guys think we have more than 33% making it correct for us to cap? I know that if there was no straight flush available we would definitly have enough with the set and nfd, but with the possiblity that he has the 98c is it enough? And even if we do have more than 33% should we cap or does just calling the 3-bet make the river action more profitable?
CoranMoran 0
A)Your turn cap blew me away.Don't do it when the board is that coordinated.B )Don't ever fold that river again in such a big pot.C)And please don't ever cap the turn AND fold the river in the same hand with an overpair.--cm
pokerkid 0
A)Your turn cap blew me away.Don't do it when the board is that coordinated.--cmIf there is no str8 flush draw then the turn cap is good? I count about 17 (or 19) clean outs with 45 (or 43) cards left in the deck. And three players still left on the turn...

Zeatrix 0
I like the turn raise, you've got enough outs. After he re-raises you are probably beat but after the nobrainer call you have to call it down. Consider this: you spend as much capping and then folding as you do calling down. The benefit of calling down is showdown.
