Hey guys, I just made a life mistake and got a DUI. I'm currently trying to figure all this out (court, attorney, estimated cost...etc) and I really am aware of the seriousness of what I did. So, as a front, I'm gonna learn from this.- Jordan
Sorry to hear that man. We all do retarded **** sometimes. You'll have no problem getting past this in your life, for sure.I'm with Actuary, as in I'm suprised I never got one. The past couple years, I've been really bad with that.Either way, best of luck to you. I hope you will still come around and critique my hands, at least.- ZachPS - Props to whoever stickied this thread.

Oh, I'll be here. I'm not quitting or anything..I just wanted to be careful not to stress myself into thinking I "have to make x dollars" cause of this. The thing that is slightly stressing is the apartment I'm getting in a month and hopefully having all the money I need straight up when that time comes.I'll get thru it though. I'm trying to stay positive.- Jordan

i want the gushing of blood that is my roll to stop to a small bleed or clot completely. Due to bills and losing my roll has been blitzed big time, thank god for rakeback. I also want to get in like 40K hands this month and find a part time job so that I have some positive cash flow thats garunteed each month so that it can cover my car payments and health insurance

Wow, that sucks Jordan. I've been there, so I know what you're feeling right now. I wish I had some advice, but there really isn't much. You're gonna feel bad about what you did for a while, and there are gonna be some nagging unpleasant consequences in the future that seem to stretch on a lot longer than they should. Actually, I'm pretty sure this isn't recommended, but what I did is after the initial "god, why did I have to do that" period, is basically decide that it was over and there was nothing I could do about it, so I wasn't going to feel bad. I just made a conscious decision, and kind of went from there. Anyway, good luck with everything. Try not to beat yourself up too hard.

Def good advice from Iggy there.

I was down almost $200 today playing 4 tables of 2-4 limit. Here are my results, thus far...2,359 hands played$132 profit, 33BB1.4BB/100 hands. That 1.4BB/100 hands looks good compared to how bad I was running today. I was DOWN $200 for a while and grinded it back out. GOAL:27,674 more hands for the month $2268 more profit to come.

Just got back in town after a long weekend visiting friends in Canada. Sorry all you Canadian strat posters that I didn't have time to visit you. I probably won't play online til at least Wednesday of this week, but I'll probably try to go to the Casino tomorrow and may take a shot at 10/20 if it looks juicy. My simple goal for this month is to not lose money. I'm really not that worried about hands played or anything. I'm just hoping to play when I want to play and play well...and god willing run well. Maybe I'll make a little money that way instead of bleeding it all away like I did last month.
